How money affects what we show
Commissions help us keep the site free. They do not decide what we recommend. We choose products for the occasion, fit and price first, and we include Budget looks even when they earn us little. We do not accept payment to change a recommendation. If a product was gifted or a brand has paid us, we say so clearly on that page.
Advertising

AI-generated images
The look images in our guides are made with AI. We use FASHN, a virtual try-on tool, to place retailer product photos onto AI-generated models. This means:
- The people shown are not real. They are synthetic.
- Each AI image is labelled as AI-generated.
- Colour, drape, length and fit may look different in real life. Check the retailer’s own photos, size guide and reviews before buying.
- Brands are credited and linked beside the items they make.
Where required by law, including New York’s rules on synthetic performers in advertising, we clearly disclose when an ad or promotional image uses a synthetic performer.
Takedowns and corrections
If you are a brand or rights holder and want an image removed or changed, contact us. We honour takedown requests within 24 hours.
