One major downfall in the fashion industry is the imbalance between men and women, and there’s often such a heavy focus on women in mainstream fashion that men are left behind. There is often a general assumption that men have less of an interest in fashion than women, but that’s not the case – we all still wear clothes! So, if you’re looking for some inspiration this fall, here are ten men outfit ideas for fall.
A turtleneck and casual blazer
A lot of the time, men’s outfits tend to be business attire, but it’s time to let loose a little. Pairing a black turtleneck jumper with a casual blazer or jacket and jeans is an effortless yet meaningful outfit.
Trench jacket and jeans
Trench jackets are everywhere in women’s fashion this year, so why not in men’s, too? Another casual outfit idea is a pair of jeans paired with any sweater and a beige trench coat.
Bomber jacket and boots
The fall is a great time to spend immersed in nature, surrounded by the beautiful orange hues, and your outfit needs to allow this. If you’re doing some exploring, pair some wellington boots with neutral-colored jeans, a sweater, and a bomber jacket.
Statement jacket
In terms of business attire, sometimes you need an outfit that’ll make you stand out, and this season has just the trick. Find a statement-colored jacket – red, or just black are brilliant choices – and add this to a white t-shirt.
Puffer jacket style
On the other side of fashion, the puffer jacket is making waves in streetwear, and it’s something that any sport-style man needs to try. Just pair some black or blue jeans with a puffer jacket, in either red, blue, or black.
Leather biker jacket
For something a little more edgy, maybe it’s time to pull off a leather biker jacket. One of the best ways to wear this is with a black ribbed top and black jean with a classy belt and sneakers.
The turtleneck and suit
We’ve already mentioned pairing a turtleneck top with a blazer, but it’s a combination we just can’t get enough of. This time, swap out your regular shirt for a tight-fitting turtleneck top and finish with matching suit trousers and jacket.
Cuffed trousers and loafers
If the Mediterranean style intrigues you, then perhaps it’s time to try this outfit. Pair some trendy leather loafer shoes with a pair of slim black suit pants or jeans and roll them up a little to reveal the ankle.
Cowl neck and jeans
For a more hipster-style outfit, it’s time to get out the cowl neck jumper. Throw this on and finish the outfit with some loose jeans, some Converse, and a backpack.
Contrast shirt and sweater
Whether it’s for business or casual, you can never go wrong with a complementary shirt and sweater combo. As long as your shirt is a flattering colour for your shirt, such as a forest green shirt and grey sweater, just pair with either a suit or some trousers.
Very good write-up. I definitely appreciate this site.
